Mark Sugg
Founder and Principal

Mark is a pioneer in public interest video production in the nation's capital.  He has been in the business of producing television programs, documentary films and online video productions for more than 25 years.  In addition to partnerships with clients such as the World Bank Group, Ocean Foundation, National Geographic, SONY, and The Ford Foundation, Mark has produced the popular PBS series Foreign Exchange with Fareed Zakaria, and numerous documentary films.

Daniel Best Arias
Director of Photography

Daniel is a cinematographer and film producer.  He has studied in South America and Europe in visual arts, music, video and audio post-production, and screenwriting. The son of Swiss diplomats, he has lived and worked with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, and he has achieved fluency in five languages. Daniel oversees production design, location shooting, and digital editing. On his own he has written, directed, and produced several independent short films.

Michael Rickley

Videographer/Editor

Mike oversees all the technical aspects of our productions.  Mike served for six years as in the U.S. Army with a Combat Camera Unit and graduated magna cum laude in 2006 from the Art Institute of Washington with a B.A. in Digital Media Production.  Mike has created an online course for the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and SONY on the technical aspects of video production for the web.

Fabienne Lips-Dumas
Producer

Fabienne Lips-Dumas has just completed her last documentary “Dark Sun” about life in Cite de Soleil in Haïti.  In 2009 her film "Children of Armageddon" about the legacy of nuclear weapons won the prestigious International Federation of Human Rights Award.  Her experience as a journalist and filmmaker has honed her ability to conceive short pieces and to present complex information with clarity.
